

HOLIDAYS:
- We like to observe all major holidays. We believe that when children are exposed to other’s beliefs and traditions, they understand that we are all different and that is what makes the world a wonderful place.
- ST. PATRICK’S DAY: We love St. Patrick’s Day here at Tir na Nog!! We all wear green and have an a huge party, usually including a Bag Piper, traditional Irish step dancers, Irish music and lots of green food!
- HALLOWEEN: We have our annual Halloween party, including a parade around our neighborhood, welcoming family members and even family pets.
- JULY 4TH: We have an annual Independence Day party and parade around our neighborhood, welcoming family members.
- VALENTINES DAY: We have an annual Valentines Day party, welcoming family members to join in the celebration in our classrooms.
- CHRISTMAS, HANUKKAH, and NEW YEAR’S are always celebrated by everyone.

BIRTHDAYS:
We celebrate birthdays, understanding what a special day it is for the birthday child. Parents are welcome to bring in treats for the celebration.
